Next up is the frame block. Not much to do here, just drilling some 10, 8 and 6 mm holes.
Figure 10. Drawing of the frame block (scale 1:1)
2.1 Measure out all the holes on one side of the frame block.
2.2 Punch the guides with nail and a hammer, to help the drill bit get exactly where we need it to.
2.3 Drill six 2.50 mm holes.
2.4 Enlarge the holes with a 5 mm drill bit. Drill all the way through, into the opposing wall.
2.5 Now, enlarge all the holes again, this time with 8 mm bit.
2.6 Mark and drill two holes on the side for the absorber attachment. Start with 2.50 mm bit and then enlarge the holes to 6 mm. Then do the same thing on the opposite side.
2.7 Finally, enlarge the two middle holes with 10 mm drill bit and knock down all the burrs inside the block.
In total, you will need three of these frame blocks.
